Ingredients

  • 8 oz burrata
  • 2 cups arugula
  • 15 oz canned crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 4 slices crusty bread

Instructions

  1. 1

Heat the 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium. Add the 2 minced garlic cloves and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Pour in the 15 oz crushed tomatoes and 0.5 tsp salt. Simmer until thickened, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. 3

Season the sauce with 0.25 tsp black pepper. Taste and adjust salt if needed.

  4. 4

Place the 8 oz burrata in the center of a serving plate. Spoon the warm tomato sauce around it.

  5. 5

Top with the 2 cups arugula and drizzle with a little extra olive oil if you like.
