Ingredients

  • 8 oz burrata cheese
  • 1 lb heirloom or cherry tomatoes, mixed
  • ½ cup fresh basil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 4 slices crusty bread (ciabatta or focaccia)
  • 1 tsp fleur de sel or sea salt
  • 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

Instructions

    Tear burrata into 2-inch pieces and arrange on a platter with halved tomatoes.

    Coarsely chop basil and whisk with 2 tbsp olive oil. Drizzle over tomatoes and burrata.

    Heat remaining olive oil in a skillet over medium-high until it shimmers, ~90 seconds.

    Toast bread slices 90 seconds per side until golden and crispy at edges.

    Drizzle balsamic over the salad, sprinkle with fleur de sel, and serve immediately with toasted bread.
