Ingredients

  • 1 box boxed vanilla cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup chocolate syrup
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a bundt pan with butter or nonstick spray.

  2. 2

In a large bowl, combine the 1 box cake mix, 3 eggs, 1/2 cup oil, and 1 cup water. Beat until smooth, about 2 minutes.

  3. 3

Pour half the batter into the pan. Drizzle 1/4 cup chocolate syrup over it, then add the remaining batter and drizzle the rest of the syrup. Swirl with a knife.

  4. 4

Bake for 35-40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a rack to cool completely.
