Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 whole large eggs
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

    Melt butter and chopped chocolate together in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.

    Whisk sugar and eggs in a bowl until pale and thick, about 2 minutes.

    Pour melted chocolate into egg mixture and stir until combined. Add vanilla.

    Fold in flour with a spatula until no white streaks remain, then fold in chocolate chips.
