Ingredients

  • 4 pieces veal cutlets
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 medium onions
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices bread

Instructions

    Pound veal cutlets to 1/4-inch thickness and season with salt and pepper.

    Dredge each cutlet in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.

    Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and fry cutlets until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.

    In a separate pan, melt butter and sauté sliced onions until caramelized, about 10 minutes.
