Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast strips
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 large egg
- 1 lb frozen french fries
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- ½ cup ketchup
Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 425°F. Spread the 1 lb frozen french fries on a baking sheet and bake until golden and crispy, about 20 minutes, shaking halfway.
- 2
While fries bake, beat the 2 eggs in a shallow bowl. Place the 1 cup breadcrumbs in another shallow bowl. Dip each of the 1 lb chicken strips into the egg, then coat with breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- 3
Heat the 0.5 cup vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Fry the chicken strips in batches, without crowding, until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- 4
Drain the chicken on paper towels. Serve the hot chicken strips with the baked fries and 0.5 cup ketchup for dipping.

Optional: sprinkle with chili flakes or paprika for extra heat.
