Ingredients
- 1.5 lb pork belly, skin-on
- ½ whole yellow onion, halved
- 2 cups steamed white rice
- 8 leaves lettuce leaves (butter or green leaf)
- 8 leaves perilla leaves (kkaennip)
- ½ cup gochujang-sesame dipping sauce (gochujang, sesame oil, minced garlic, soy sauce mixed)

Place pork belly and onion in a pot, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil over high heat.

Reduce heat to medium and simmer until the meat is very tender and a fork pierces easily, about 12 minutes.
