- 4 ears corn on the cob
- 8 cups water
- 1 tbsp salt
- 2 tbsp butter

Fill a large pot with 8 cups water and 1 tbsp salt. Bring to a rolling boil over high heat, about 10 minutes.

Carefully add 4 ears of corn to the boiling water. Return to a boil, then reduce heat to medium and cook until kernels are bright yellow and tender, about 5-7 minutes.
