Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp gelatin powder (unflavored)
  • 1.5 cups fresh or frozen mixed berries

Instructions

    Pour milk into a small bowl. Sprinkle gelatin over it and let sit 2 minutes to bloom.

    Heat cream and sugar in a saucepan over medium until steam rises and sugar dissolves, ~3 minutes.

    Remove from heat. Add bloomed gelatin and stir until completely dissolved, ~1 minute. Stir in vanilla.

    Divide mixture among 4 glasses or small bowls. Refrigerate until set, ~15 minutes.

    Meanwhile, place berries in a small saucepan. Mash gently with a fork and warm over medium 2 minutes until juicy.

    Pour warm berry sauce over chilled panna cotta. Serve immediately.
