Ingredients
- 8 oz tagliatelle pasta
- 12 oz beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 slice bread, cubed
- ¼ cup breadcrumbs

Cook tagliatelle in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.

Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over high heat and sear beef strips for 2-3 minutes until browned.

Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds, then season with salt and pepper and remove beef from skillet.

In the same skillet, add remaining oil and fry bread cubes until golden and crispy, about 2 minutes.

Toast breadcrumbs in a dry pan over medium heat until golden, stirring frequently, about 3 minutes.

Return beef to skillet with pasta and a splash of pasta water, tossing to combine and coat.
