Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked beef, shredded
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1.5 cups breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tbsp oil and cook 1 chopped onion and 2 minced garlic until soft, about 5 minutes.

Add 2 cups shredded beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2 minutes until heated through. Set aside to cool.

In a saucepan, bring 1 cup milk and 1 cup flour to a simmer, stirring constantly until a thick dough forms, about 3 minutes. Let cool slightly.

Shape the dough into small balls, flatten, and place a spoonful of beef filling in the center. Seal and form into croquette shapes.

Dip each croquette in 2 beaten eggs, then coat with 1.5 cups breadcrumbs.
