Ingredients
- 8 oz rice noodles
- ½ lb minced pork
- 8 pieces fish balls
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 3 stalks green onions
- 6 cups broth
- ¼ cup crispy fried shallots
- 2 tbsp soy sauce

Soak the 8 oz rice noodles in warm water for 10 minutes, then drain and set aside.

In a large pot, bring 6 cups broth to a boil over high heat. Add the 0.5 lb minced pork, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until it turns white, about 3 minutes.

Add the 8 fish balls and 1 cup sliced mushrooms to the pot. Reduce heat to medium and simmer until fish balls are heated through and mushrooms are tender, about 5 minutes.
