Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. 2

Cook the 6 bacon slices in a skillet over medium heat until crisp, about 6-8 minutes. Drain on paper towels, then crumble into small bits.

  3. 3

Roll out the 1 puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface to a 12x10-inch rectangle. Spread the 2 tbsp softened butter evenly over the pastry.

  4. 4

Sprinkle the crumbled bacon evenly over the buttered pastry, pressing gently so it adheres.

  5. 5

Starting from one long edge, roll the pastry tightly into a log. Repeat from the other edge to meet in the middle, forming a double spiral. Chill for 10 minutes.

  6. 6

Slice the log into 1/2-inch thick rounds and place them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.

  7. 7

Bake until golden and puffed, about 15-18 minutes. Let cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before serving.
