Ingredients

  • 1 lb elbow macaroni
  • 8 oz bacon, chopped
  • 3 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1.5 cups whole milk

Instructions

    Cook bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crispy, ~8 minutes, then remove and chop.

    Add elbow macaroni and 6 cups water to the same pot, bring to a boil, then simmer until al dente, ~7 minutes.

    Stir in milk and remove from heat, then add shredded cheddar and stir until melted and smooth.
