Ingredients

  • 1.5 tsp hojicha powder
  • 6 oz hot water
  • 4 oz whole milk
  • ½ tbsp sugar or honey

Instructions

    Sift hojicha powder into a cup. Pour in hot water and whisk until smooth and no lumps remain.

    Heat milk in a small saucepan or microwave for 60 seconds until steaming (do not boil).

    Pour hot milk into the hojicha base, then whisk briskly for 15 seconds until foam rises.

    Stir in sugar or honey to taste. Top with remaining foam and serve immediately.
