Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 whole large egg
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup vanilla ice cream
  • ¼ cup chocolate sauce

    Divide butter and chopped chocolate between two microwave-safe mugs or ramekins.

    Microwave each mug 45 seconds until butter and chocolate melt; stir until glossy.

    Whisk the egg with sugar in a bowl until pale and thick, about 1 minute.

    Fold egg mixture into chocolate along with flour until just combined; divide between mugs.

    Microwave each mug 60-75 seconds until edges are set but center jiggles slightly when shaken.
