Ingredients

  • 1 box boxed cake mix (any flavor), baked & cooled
  • ½ cup frosting
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or shortening
  • 24 count lollipop sticks or toothpicks
  • ¼ cup sprinkles or toppings

Instructions

    Crumble cooled cake into a bowl until no large chunks remain. Mix in frosting until fully combined.

    Roll mixture into 24 balls about the size of walnuts and place on a parchment-lined tray.

    Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second bursts, stirring between each, until smooth.

    Dip the tip of each stick into melted chocolate, then push it into a cake ball about halfway.

    Dip each pop into the chocolate, coat fully, then shake off excess and sprinkle immediately while wet.

    Stand pops upright in a cup or glass to set, about 10 minutes, until chocolate hardens.
