Ingredients

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup hot fudge sauce

Instructions

  1. 1

Mix flour, granulated sugar, cocoa, and a pinch of salt in a microwave-safe mug or ramekin.

  2. 2

Stir in milk and melted butter until smooth batter forms, breaking up lumps.

  3. 3

Microwave the mug on high for 2 minutes. Top should look set but still jiggly underneath.

  4. 4

While cake cools, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until fluffy, about 1 minute.

  5. 5

Once cake cools slightly, turn it out onto a plate and slice it horizontally into two layers.

  6. 6

Spread frosting on bottom layer, stack second layer on top, and drizzle hot fudge over the whole cake.
