Ingredients

  • 2 cups leftover or store-bought cake (any flavor), crumbled
  • ½ cup frosting (canned or homemade)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or shortening
  • ¼ cup sprinkles or crushed candy
  • 12 count lollipop sticks or toothpicks

Instructions

  1. 1

Mix crumbled cake with frosting until the mixture holds together when squeezed, about 2 minutes.

  2. 2

Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill for 5 minutes.

  3. 3

Microwave chocolate chips with coconut oil in 30-second bursts, stirring between each, until smooth and pourable.

  4. 4

Insert a stick into each cake ball, then dip halfway into melted chocolate, rotating once for even coverage.

  5. 5

Immediately sprinkle the wet chocolate with sprinkles or candy before it sets.

  6. 6

Stand pops upright in a glass or vase to dry, about 5 minutes. Serve at room temperature.
