Ingredients

  • 6 cups beef broth
  • ½ lb ground beef
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 8 oz rice noodles, thin (or pasta)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

    Bring broth to a boil in a large pot over high heat.

    Add ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks until no pink remains, ~3 minutes.

    Stir in garlic, soy sauce, and fish sauce. Simmer 1 minute until fragrant.

    Add noodles and cook until tender, ~4 minutes (or follow package directions).

    Taste and adjust soy sauce or fish sauce as needed.
