Ingredients
- 1.5 cups water
- 1 serving black tea (2-3 tea bags or loose leaf)
- 3 slices fresh ginger, sliced thin
- 3 pods cardamom pods, crushed
- ¾ cup whole milk (or almond milk)
- 2 tbsp honey

Heat water in a kettle or pot until it reaches a rolling boil, about 5 minutes.

Pour hot water into a saucepan or teapot with tea bags, ginger slices, and crushed cardamom pods.

Let steep for 3–4 minutes until fragrant and deeply golden, then add cinnamon stick if using.

Warm milk in a small pot or microwave (90 seconds if microwaving) until steaming but not boiling.

Strain tea into two mugs, discarding solids, then pour warm milk into each mug.
