Ingredients

  • 2 rounds store-bought chocolate cake rounds (8-inch, unfrosted)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt

Instructions

    Sift cocoa powder and powdered sugar together into a large bowl to break up lumps.
