Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 24 cookies chocolate wafer cookies (Nabisco Famous Amos or similar)
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 lb strawberries, fresh
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- 1
Pour heavy cream into a bowl. Whip with an electric mixer or by hand until stiff peaks form, about 2 minutes.
- 2
Sift cocoa powder and powdered sugar together, then fold gently into whipped cream with vanilla until no streaks remain.
- 3
Brush one side of each chocolate wafer with melted butter, then arrange 6 wafers butter-side up in a single stack on a plate.
- 4
Spread 2 tbsp chocolate frosting on top of the first wafer layer, then place another wafer butter-side up on top.
- 5
Repeat layering until all 6 wafers are stacked with frosting between each. Spread remaining frosting over the entire stack.
- 6
Top with fresh strawberries and serve immediately. Stack will soften slightly as wafers absorb moisture from frosting.
