  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 whole lime
  • 4 oz crispy shrimp or prawn crackers
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro or Thai basil, roughly chopped

    Pat shrimp dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and black pepper.

    Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it foams, about 1 minute.

    Add garlic and cook, stirring constantly, for 30 seconds until fragrant—do not burn.

    Add shrimp in a single layer and sear without stirring for 2 minutes until edges turn pink.

    Flip shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes more until the centers are cooked through and curled.
