Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb sirloin steak
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 cups broccoli
  • 1 cup baby corn
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. 1

Pat the 1.5 lb steak dry and season both sides with salt and pepper. Let it sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.

  2. 2

In a small bowl, whisk together the 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp honey, and 2 minced garlic cloves to make the teriyaki sauce.

  3. 3

Heat 1 tbsp of the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook until browned and cooked to your liking, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Transfer to a plate and let rest.

  4. 4

Add the remaining 1 tbsp oil to the skillet. Add the 2 cups broccoli, 1 cup baby corn, and 2 sliced carrots. Stir-fry until crisp-tender, about 5-7 minutes.

  5. 5

Pour the teriyaki sauce into the skillet with the vegetables. Cook, stirring, until the sauce thickens and coats everything, about 2 minutes.

  6. 6

Slice the rested steak against the grain and serve with the vegetables and extra sauce spooned on top.
