Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Swiss muesli (rolled oats, hazelnuts, dried fruit blend)
  • 1 cup Full-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup Whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons Raw honey
  • 1 whole Fresh apple, medium
  • 1 whole Fresh pear, medium
  • ¾ cup Fresh raspberries or blueberries
  • ¼ cup Roasted unsalted almonds, sliced
  • ¼ teaspoon Sea salt

Instructions

  1. 1

Pour 1.5 cups of Swiss muesli into a 10-inch skillet set over medium heat. Toast gently for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently with a wooden spoon, until the oats smell fragrant and you can just barely hear them crackling. The goal is to warm and slightly deepen the flavor — do not brown aggressively or the hazelnuts will become bitter. Transfer to a plate to cool slightly.

  2. 2

While the muesli cools, prepare the fruit. Core one medium apple and one medium pear, then cut each into thin matchsticks or small dice — no need to peel unless you prefer a smoother texture. Place the apple and pear pieces in a small bowl immediately so they don't oxidize.

  3. 3

In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 cup of full-fat plain Greek yogurt, 0.5 cup of whole milk, 2 tablespoons of raw honey, and 0.25 teaspoon of sea salt until smooth and well combined. The mixture should be creamy but pourable — the yogurt will coat the muesli without becoming a thick paste.

  4. 4

Divide the yogurt mixture evenly between two large bowls or glasses. Spoon 0.75 cup of the toasted muesli over the yogurt in each bowl, then top each with half of the diced apple and pear, and half of the 0.75 cup fresh raspberries or blueberries.

  5. 5

Scatter 0.125 cup (about 2 tablespoons) of sliced roasted almonds over each bowl. Serve immediately while the muesli is still warm and beginning to soften — the contrast between the warm toasted grain, cool yogurt, and fresh crisp fruit is what makes this Swiss classic so satisfying.
