Ingredients

  • ¾ cup honey
  • 4 tbsp butter, softened
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp spice blend (cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, anise)
  • ½ tsp lemon zest

Instructions

    Heat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Whisk flour, spice blend, and lemon zest in a bowl.

    In another bowl, beat butter and brown sugar until pale, about 2 minutes.

    Stir honey into the butter mixture, then fold in the flour mixture until a thick dough forms.
