  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1.5 tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

    Stir in brown sugar, ginger, cloves, and cinnamon until combined. Remove from heat and let cool 5 minutes.

    Mix in flour until a stiff dough forms. Knead on a work surface until smooth, ~2 minutes.

    Roll dough between two sheets of parchment paper to 1/4-inch thickness. Chill for 5 minutes.
