Ingredients
- 4 bags black tea bags
- 1.5 cups hot water
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 whole lemon
- 2 cups ice

Pour hot water into a pitcher. Add tea bags and let steep for 3 minutes until deeply golden.

Remove tea bags. Stir in sugar until completely dissolved — the heat helps it dissolve fast.

Pour the sweetened tea over ice in a tall glass, filling about 3/4 full.

Slice the lemon and squeeze one wedge into the tea, then drop the slice in as garnish.
