Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs pork spare ribs or baby back ribs, cut into 2-rib pieces
  • ⅓ cup hoisin sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz fresh chow mein noodles (or ramen), cooked
  • 1.5 cups cooked fried rice or white rice
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. 1

Pat pork ribs dry. Toss with hoisin, minced garlic, 1 tbsp soy sauce, and a pinch of salt.

  2. 2

Spread ribs on a sheet pan in a single layer. Roast at 425°F for 18–20 minutes until edges caramelize and meat pulls back from bone.

  3. 3

While ribs roast, warm cooked chow mein and fried rice in a skillet over medium heat until hot, ~3 minutes.

  4. 4

Remove ribs from oven. Divide chow mein and fried rice between two plates.

  5. 5

Pile glazed ribs on top of noodles and rice. Drizzle any pan juices over the ribs.

  6. 6

Scatter sesame seeds over the top. Serve hot.
