Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb pork ribs
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 stalks green onions

Instructions

  1. 1

Cut the 1.5 lb pork ribs into 2-inch pieces and pat dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

In a bowl, mix the 3 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp oyster sauce, 3 minced garlic cloves, and 1 tbsp cornstarch until smooth.

  3. 3

Add the ribs to the marinade, tossing to coat evenly. Let sit for 10 minutes at room temperature.

  4. 4

Arrange the ribs in a single layer in a heatproof dish that fits your steamer.

  5. 5

Steam over boiling water, covered, until the meat is tender and pulls away from the bone, about 40 minutes.

  6. 6

Sprinkle with the 1 tsp sesame seeds and 2 sliced green onions before serving hot.

  7. 7

Serve the ribs with the accumulated juices spooned over the top.
