Ingredients

  • 1 lb squid
  • 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. 1

Clean the 1 lb squid: remove the head, tentacles, and cartilage, then slice the body into 1/2 inch rings. Pat dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp gochujang, 1 tbsp soy sauce, and 1 tbsp honey until smooth.

  3. 3

Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat until shimmering. Add the squid in a single layer and cook undisturbed for 1 minute.

  4. 4

Add the sauce and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, until the squid is opaque and just tender and the sauce coats it evenly.

  5. 5

Sprinkle with 1 tsp sesame seeds and serve immediately.
