Ingredients

  • 1 ball (about 1 lb) store-bought pizza dough (room temperature)
  • 4 oz spicy salami, thinly sliced
  • 1.5 cups whole milk mozzarella, shredded
  • ½ cup tomato sauce or marinara
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 leaves fresh basil, torn
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 475°F. Drizzle a sheet pan with olive oil and stretch dough into a thin, even rectangle, roughly 1/4-inch thick.

  2. 2

Spread tomato sauce evenly over dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border for the crust.

  3. 3

Scatter minced garlic and half the red pepper flakes over sauce, then top with shredded mozzarella.

  4. 4

Arrange salami slices in overlapping layers across the cheese, then sprinkle remaining pepper flakes on top.

  5. 5

Bake for 10–12 minutes until crust edges are golden and cheese bubbles at the center.

  6. 6

Remove from oven, scatter fresh basil over top, and serve immediately with a drizzle of olive oil.
