Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb white fish fillets
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 2 cups bean sprouts
  • 1 cup tofu skin strips
  • 3 stalks green onions

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your grill or broiler to high. Pat the 1.5 lb fish fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

In a small bowl, mix 3 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp chili flakes, and 2 tbsp water. Brush half over the fish.

  3. 3

Grill the fish for 4-5 minutes per side, until it flakes easily with a fork and is lightly charred at the edges.

  4. 4

While the fish cooks, bring 2 cups water to a simmer in a wide pan. Add 2 cups bean sprouts and 1 cup tofu skin strips, cook for 2 minutes until tender.

  5. 5

Transfer the vegetables and broth to a serving dish, top with the grilled fish, pour over the remaining sauce, and scatter with 3 sliced green onions.
