Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- 2 tsp cajun seasoning blend
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter

Boil fettuccine in salted water until al dente, about 9 minutes. Reserve 0.5 cup pasta water before draining.

Pat chicken dry. Rub all over with cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Heat 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high until it shimmers.

Sear chicken 6–7 minutes per side without moving until edges look golden and internal temp hits 165°F. Transfer to a cutting board.

Pour cream into the same skillet with 1 tbsp fresh butter. Stir over medium heat for 1 minute until bubbling slightly.

Slice cooked chicken. Add pasta to the cream sauce along with chicken and parmesan. Toss, adding pasta water 1 tbsp at a time until silky.

Serve hot. Taste and adjust salt and cajun heat to your liking.
