Ingredients
- 8 pieces large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 6 pieces sea scallops, patted dry
- 6 oz white fish fillet (cod or halibut), cut into 2-inch chunks
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- ½ whole lime

Heat a 12-inch cast iron skillet over high heat until it's smoking, about 2 minutes.

Add 1 tbsp butter, then arrange shrimp, scallops, and fish on the skillet in a single layer.

Sear without moving for 90 seconds until the undersides are golden. Flip each piece and sear another 60 seconds.

Push seafood to the side. Add remaining butter and soy sauce to the center, stirring until combined.

Toss seafood through the glaze for 30 seconds. Squeeze lime over the top and transfer to a plate.
