Ingredients

  • 3 bags black tea bags
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 4 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 cups ice
  • ½ whole lemon

Instructions

    Steep tea bags in boiling water for 3 minutes, then remove bags.

    Stir in sugar until completely dissolved while tea is still hot.

    Pour hot tea over ice in a tall glass; it will chill instantly.

    Squeeze lemon juice over the top and stir; drop the wedge in.

    Serve immediately while ice is still crackling.
