Ingredients
- 8 oz spaghetti
- ½ lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1.5 cups tomato sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Cook the 8 oz spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.

While pasta cooks, heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium. Add 2 minced garlic cloves and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add 1/2 lb shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.

Pour 1.5 cups tomato sauce into the skillet. Simmer until slightly thickened, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Return shrimp to the sauce, add the drained spaghetti, and toss to coat, adding reserved pasta water if needed. Sprinkle with 2 tbsp parsley and serve.
