Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 fillets salmon fillets
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • ½ cup cilantro

Instructions

  1. 1

Pat the 2 salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high until shimmering, about 2 minutes.

  2. 2

Place the salmon skin-side down in the hot skillet. Cook until the skin is crispy and golden, about 4 minutes, then flip and cook until the flesh flakes easily, another 3-4 minutes.

  3. 3

Divide the 2 cups cooked rice between two bowls. Flake the salmon over the rice, discarding the skin if desired.

  4. 4

Drizzle 1 tbsp soy sauce over each bowl and top with the 0.5 cup chopped cilantro. Serve immediately.
