Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1.5 cups warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary
Instructions
- 1
In a large bowl, mix 3 cups flour, 1 tbsp yeast, and 1 tsp salt. Make a well in the center.
- 2
Pour 1.5 cups warm water and 1 tbsp olive oil into the well. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.

- 4
Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot until doubled, about 1 hour.
- 5
Punch down dough, shape into a round loaf, and place on a baking sheet. Brush with remaining 1 tbsp olive oil and sprinkle with 2 tbsp chopped rosemary.
- 6
Let rise again for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- 7
Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped. Cool on a rack before slicing.
