Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs fresh or frozen mixed red berries (raspberries, redcurrants, strawberries)
- ⅓ cup sugar
- ½ cup water
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup cold heavy cream

Combine berries, sugar, and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

Stir occasionally until the berries release their juices and sugar dissolves, ~8 minutes.

Whisk cornstarch with 1 tbsp cold water until smooth; pour into the saucepan.
