Ingredients

  • 2 blocks ramyeon noodle blocks (Korean instant noodles)
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tbsp gochugaru (Korean red chili flakes)
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 4 whole frozen dumplings

Instructions

    Bring water to a boil in a large pot over high heat.

    Add ramyeon blocks and frozen dumplings, stirring to separate noodles.

    When water returns to a boil, crack eggs into the pot and let sit until whites set but yolks still jiggle, ~3 minutes.

    Stir in gochugaru and the ramyeon seasoning packet (included with noodles).

    Shred the cucumber into thin matchsticks while soup finishes.

    Divide noodles, broth, eggs, and dumplings between two bowls, top with cucumber shreds, and serve hot.
