Ingredients
- 2 slice bread slices
- 4 slice prosciutto
- 2 oz cheese (e.g., provolone or mozzarella)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp fresh chives
- 4 leaf fresh mint leaves
Instructions
- 1
Butter one side of each bread slice with the 1 tbsp butter. Place the bread buttered-side down on a cutting board.
- 2
Layer the 4 prosciutto slices evenly on one slice of bread, folding to fit.
- 3
Top the prosciutto with the 2 oz cheese, spreading it to cover the meat.
- 4
Scatter the 1 tbsp chives and 4 mint leaves over the cheese.
- 5
Place the second bread slice on top, buttered-side up.
- 6
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 3 minutes per side.
- 7
Press gently with a spatula while cooking to help the cheese melt. Remove from heat when the cheese is melted and the bread is golden.
