Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • 1 large potato
  • 4 oz ham
  • 1.5 cup mozzarella cheese
  • ½ medium onion
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp parsley

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 450°F. Roll out the 1 lb pizza dough on a floured surface into a 12-inch round, then transfer to a baking sheet or pizza stone.

  2. 2

Spread the 1/2 cup tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border for the crust.

  3. 3

Thinly slice the 1 large potato (about 1/8 inch thick) and arrange the slices over the sauce in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. 4

Scatter the 1/2 sliced onion and 4 oz diced ham over the potatoes. Dot with the 1 tbsp butter cut into small pieces.

  5. 5

Sprinkle the 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella evenly over the top. Bake until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and browned in spots, about 15-18 minutes.

  6. 6

Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with the 2 tbsp chopped parsley, then slice and serve.
