Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground pork
  • 16 count wonton wrappers
  • 6 cups beef or chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 count scallions, chopped

Instructions

  1. 1

Mix ground pork with 1 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tsp sesame oil in a small bowl.

  2. 2

Fill each wonton wrapper with 1 tsp pork mixture, wet edges with water, fold in half, then bring corners together.

  3. 3

Bring broth to a boil in a large pot over medium-high heat, about 4 minutes.

  4. 4

Slide dumplings into boiling broth and stir gently so they don't stick to the bottom.

  5. 5

Simmer until dumplings float and broth is fragrant, 5–6 minutes. Stir in remaining 1 tbsp soy sauce.

  6. 6

Ladle into bowls, drizzle with remaining sesame oil, top with scallions, and serve hot.
