Ingredients

  • 1 whole pomegranate

Instructions

  1. 1

Cut the 1 pomegranate in half crosswise. Hold one half cut-side down over a bowl, and tap the skin firmly with a wooden spoon. The seeds will fall out, leaving the white pith behind.

  2. 2

Repeat with the other half. Pick out any bits of white pith that fall into the bowl.

  3. 3

Rinse the seeds in a colander under cold water and drain well.

  4. 4

Pat the seeds dry with a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.

  5. 5

Use immediately, or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
