Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh egg noodles or rice noodles
  • ½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • ½ lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 medium carrots, julienned
  • 2 cups cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

    Cut chicken breast into thin strips about 2 inches long.

    Boil noodles according to package directions until just tender.

    Drain noodles and set aside in a large bowl.

    Mince garlic and julienne carrots into thin matchsticks.

    Heat 1.5 tablespoons oil in a 14-inch wok or large skillet over high heat.

    Add chicken strips and stir-fry until golden, about 4 minutes.

    Push chicken to the side of the wok.

    Add shrimp to the empty space and cook until pink, about 3 minutes.

    Transfer chicken and shrimp to a plate.

    Add remaining 1.5 tablespoons oil to the wok.

    Add minced garlic and stir until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

    Add carrots and cabbage, stir-fry until slightly softened, about 3 minutes.

    Return chicken and shrimp to the wok.

    Add cooked noodles and soy sauce, toss to combine evenly.

    Stir-fry everything together for 2 minutes until heated through.
