Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 large egg
  • 6 stalks green onions
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. 1

In a large bowl, whisk together 1 cup flour, 1 cup water, and 1 egg until smooth; the batter should be thin and pourable.

  2. 2

Cut 6 green onions into 2-inch pieces, then add them to the batter and stir to coat.

  3. 3

Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat; pour in the batter and spread it into an even circle.

  4. 4

Cook until the bottom is golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes; carefully flip and cook the other side until golden, another 3-4 minutes.

  5. 5

Meanwhile, mix 2 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tbsp rice vinegar in a small bowl for dipping.

  6. 6

Slide the pancake onto a plate, cut into wedges, and serve hot with the dipping sauce.
