Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 whole green chili
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. 1

In a blender, combine 1 cup mint leaves, 1 cup cilantro, 1 chopped green chili, 1 tbsp lemon juice, and 1/2 tsp salt.

  2. 2

Add 2 tbsp water and blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed, about 1-2 minutes.

  3. 3

If the chutney is too thick, add water 1 tbsp at a time until it reaches a pourable consistency.

  4. 4

Taste and adjust salt or lemon juice if desired. Transfer to a bowl and serve immediately or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
