Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp matcha powder
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • ½ tsp baking powder

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Whisk butter and sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy, ~2 minutes by hand.

    Add egg and stir until fully combined. The mixture should look pale and creamy.

    Sift matcha powder, flour, and baking powder into the bowl. Stir until no dry streaks remain.
